3 weeks since I've posted? Seriously? What is wrong with me?!?! Sometimes I haven't posted for so long that I get overwhlemed at the thought of "catching up" and put it off another day, and that can go on for days and days. It's so silly because what I should do is just jump in. It's this weird "start at the beginning and do it from begining to end to do it correctly" thinking trap I fall into. It's hard to explain it, but it seems to be an effective way of overwhelming myself into inaction. (Add it to the list of things to work on. And no, I don't even know where the beginning of that list is!) So today, I'm just letting that go and jumping back in.
For one of the weeks I was teaching journaling at Gina's Artinfusio, which was a great weekend filled with another set of great artists. I have Gina to thank for the hosting and sharing her photos:
Thank you Gina!!
We had so much fun we decided to plan a holiday themed day of fun in December in her beautiful room with a view of the Pacific. I'll be teaching along with Amy Hanna, and Gina will be hosting again with a luncheon and giveaways and a trunk show by all...but more on that another day. If I don't press publish now, this post may never get done! xo

always enjoy your posts...whenever you get to it! got the postcards today, thank you much ... :)

Some days I feel the same way. I'm a little OCD about having things in order. I'm starting to let go of that way of thinking but it is hard to do.
I love all of the photos and colors. It looks like a great time.

Looks like another Pam-derful class!(get it--wond-derful?). Always so much creativing flowing when you're leading! I'm thankful I did get to go to one class with you at Silver Bella, years ago! This makes me want to go straight to my craft room and work on a jounal.... Hugs, Heidi

Your entry about catch up blogs is exactly the place I'm in right now and the more time that goes by since my last blog, I feel a little more overwhelmed with the idea of catching up.
Maybe tomorrow...I'll catch up.
Love your journal photos.

Oh, I so understand about feeling the need to start at the beginning and going through to the end to do it right. It's crazy making and it comes up not just in blogging but in making as well. It's frustrating and I have to just keep telling myself to let it go and begin, wherever I am.

Creative women are always so dipdog hard on themselves aren't they? Take a breath, remember you are busy being you--- and along the way dropping seeds to inspire and motivate many who follow your work. The rest? Well it comes when it does and does what it must!!!!

I had a fantastic time learning from you Pam! Your journals alone bring so much inspiration, but I'm so glad that I got to soak in some of your creativity. Since I only stayed for day 1, I see what I missed on Sunday! Everyone's journals look great! Thank you once again for sharing your art.
Xoxo~ Christine :o)
