Full Tilt Boogie Sneak Peek! from MAM on Vimeo.
Mary Ann Moss is at it again. She's developed a new class that went on sale today. Love it. Above you see her promo video. If you plan to partake and haven't gotten your Victorian cabinet card album yet, I've just listed some on etsy.
I went searching for the one I am going to use in the class, and realized I have too many books that I have "plans" for. As I'm doing a clean out, a friend said, "don't save things that you want to use someday." That's my big problem; I see potential in far too many things! Well, I acknowledge I have taken this envisioning way too far. Too much to feel organized, and I am tired tired tired of feeling disorganized. Baby steps.

i totally
have the
"someday"
problem
going on.
i see so
much life
in so many
random
little things...
i share
the disorganization
gene with you,
pam.
you are not
alone!!!
:)

I need to paint that on my wall- about saving things. Avoiding my studio as I write... going to be brave and thin it out, and organize!!

Hi Pam, I just found your blog and wanted to say how amazing your art journalling is. I love it!

Same with me! There should be a SFPUA (Saving for Potential Use Anonymous) group that we can join.. I am sure many artists will become members!

I really feel the same, I keep things, thinking in use in thousands of projects later and so I have always head full of too many ideas and projects pending and clutter everywhere, ha, ha, ha.
These albums are precious.

I will join that SFPUA group! It's a blessing and a curse to see potential in every scrap of paper, beautiful catalog page, piece of mail, etc. Can't wait to see what you create in the class!

I can definitely relate to this post! I have so many things that will be good for 'something, someday' but 'someday' doesn't seem to ever arrive! I've been spring cleaning in winter down here, still a long way to go but it's been rather liberating so far. Good luck :)
