Years ago, I bought a house kit from Michelle Ward and went to town adapting it into my very own little ode-to--our-home. I remember how much fun I had working on it, joyfully obsessing over it until it was done. Just a reminder that there are so many different ways to journal/scrapbook/whatever, and endless subjects you can memorialize while doing so. Here's a quick little look into what I ended up with.
{I've asked Michelle if she's got any kits left, I'll let you know when I hear back, but feel free to go look around and while you're over at Michelle's check out the cool way she's making a big difference.}

wow!! that is incredible Pam! Each and every bit was just gorgeous and special and detailed....what a fabulous piece to have as a keepsake. what inspiration! thank you so much for sharing...makes me want to call in sick to work, put some good music on and make something wonderful!

I just discovered your work and blog via Claudia at The Paris Apartment. She showed this pretty video of your book which is so creative and adorable. I would love to make one too. I also saw some of your sewing. I have been thinking of getting a sewing machine. May I ask what kind you have and/or recommend? Thanks so much! :)
