Here are some journal pages from the last couple nights. I love to sit down at the end of a long day and cut and paste and doodle and color.
I started a new journal. I'm using a beautiful book I bought at Anthropologie. When I first saw it last year, I was soooo in love with it and found it so inspiring. It's a book by artist Louise Bourgeois about a time in her childhood.
The size (12x16ish), the paper, her writings, and particularly the photos of beautiful fabric designs made my mind race with ideas. But it was $95.00(!), so I had to walk away. I recently found it on the sale shelves for $14.95!!! I was so excited, I bought two; one to journal on, one to keep and look through again and again. Maybe your Anthropologie has one on the sale shelf too...
Wishing you and yours the happiest of holidays. I hope that you are with loved ones celebrating and enjoying your traditions and beliefs. All the best for 2011, I think it's going to be a great year!!!

Pam, I love your journal. This new year I'm going to dig (dive) into doing one. Do you have any more vintage wall paper? If you do I'd love to buy some.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, Pam! Love the new journal pages... I've been working on one using a kraft paper journal and only using red, brown, black and white for my color scheme. It's turning out well! Can't wait to see what you have for us in 2011.

Dear Pam--Just found your blogspot; great videos. I am a beginning art-journaler; have done written journals forever...it is strange to leap into visual from totally verbal...but loving it.
Great site--thanks julierose

Wow. I can't believe Anthropologie had this book- I've been stalking amazon forever trying to find it. I love Louise Bourgeois' work so much, I wish I'd seen your blog post about it sooner so I could have gotten a copy of it. Darn it!
