One stitch at a time, I'm making progress on my big summer project. Someone commented that I'll be done by Thanksgiving...at the time, I thought that sounded so far away, now? not so much. Even though it's a long way from finished, I think I'm going to throw it in the washer today. I'm excited to see how that works out. Here are some more close ups:

Really beautiful...it reminds me of a shabby cottage by the sea somewhere. *Adore*

Oh Pam,
This is beautiful.
I just wish I had the patients for things like this... I get bored to easy and it would end up another unfinished project on my list of crafty things to do.
But this is Great, just beautiful.

Pam - your Summer Project is OUTSTANDING!! I love it! And I'm determined to do one for myself, perhaps a little smaller. And also some that are even smaller to frame. This is such a treasured piece! A true family heirloom! Thank you for sharing your art and inspiring us all. Jan Fursdon of FursdonHouse.

I love this. I have started my daughter something similar in that I used vintage sheets as the base and am incorporating embroideries, doilies, hankies, etc. Your piece inspires me to keep going.
