I couldn't resist taking a photo of the jar holding paint brushes behind the sink this morning. The light was hitting it just so. I'd go out and paint if it weren't 105 º out. Guess we're finally getting some summer weather here in So.Cal. I'm sure the unbearable heat will go as quickly as it came and I'll be back at it soon; I'm itching to slap some paint on some journal pages in a manner too messy for indoors.
Hope you're enjoying cooler temperatures!

That's the perfect picture. Beauty in the ordinary. It's all around us, isn't it?

Dear Pam,
I love the pictures! You inspire me to see things differently. I am so addicted to your blog. Sometimes I feel like I'm a stalker because I visit your blog at least twice a day! Unlike other blogs, I just don't look at your pictures, I really read the captions! I love reading about your family and your journey because I can identify with your struggles. Like you I have two teenagers, a full time job, and I'd much rather do art rather than clean the house. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity. I love everything that you create and all your photographs! Don't you ever stop blogging. You'll never know how much inspiration you give to a lot of people. When is your next workshop in So Cal?

It's important to remember beautiful things are everywhere.
Just most of the time most of the people don't see them. They are not awake to looking for them.

Pam, I hadn't stopped by for a while, and I just love you new "look".... the banner is so "YOU". The photo of the paint brushes in the sunlight? Priceless.
