that is a GREAT idea!! I am stealing it now....

Rita Ackerman

These are wonderful. Such beautiful stitches. There seems to be something about summer and stitching. I wonder if there is a genetic thing from long ago. I don't clean my stamps either... glad I'm not the only one.
Thank you.

Janet Ghio

I love the embroidery in the second photo. What a pretty pattern.

ludid

This is a great idea! I had thought of using some of my stamps for this purpose before, and then forgot about it, so I am happy to see you do this!

I forgot about the stamping technique I am so glad you reminded me I am too lazy and forgetful to get carbon paper! LOL! I can't wait to see where these beauties are going to be placed on your quilt.

psmullican

What a great idea! And they're the perfect size for a stitching project like that!

Alison Gibbs

Oh what a great idea. Every time I try with carbon paper it hardly shows through, even with black!!

Oh, don't apologize, Pam, dear!
You are an inpiration no matter what you do!

Steph

This is a fabulous idea! I love the stamps! My stitching is truly terrible but I think that stitching over a template, so to speak, may well help me. First time here Pam, my name's Steph and I am a writer and editor. Love your work.

Peaches

Are there really people out there who clean stamps? Honestly, I didn't even know they would come clean?! Funny, the things we learn as grown ups....

Well, I just love this idea of yours. I love embroidery but never have the patience to do a large piece, but these little babies of yours seem really high impact. This would also be a good approach to covering any annoying little moth holes....not that I ever get moth holes :) Just like I always clean my stamps :)

Kas

So lovely and your color choices are so "YOU". Are you using special floss?

deedee

so lovely!

violette

oh these are simply gorgeous....you inspire me to take up stitching!

love violette
