The fun is still coming in the form of stitching for me. My pal Charlotte, who bought me the Rebecca Ringquist sampler (previously blogged about) as a gift just because she knows me well and knew how happy it would make me, has provided me with more stitching fun again. This time she has made a pattern for a sampler downloadable as a pdf. It's this adorable turtle, (with half of the proceeds going to The Sea Turtle Conservancy-how cute is that?).
I've decided to incorporate it into my little summer-journaling-on-fabric project in process. Here's my entire mini quilt piece which I'll incorporate into a larger page. I'm thinking of these pieces as journaling spreads, little bits of my life this summer. When they are all sewn together, they will tell a larger story.
You can see Charlotte's sampler here, on her blog, and if you want one of your own, you can get that here. I'm addicted, and happy to know that both Rebecca and Charlotte have more sampler designs on the way.

I love the way you did this! I bought it too and was needing a little inspiration:) ~Shelley O.
