I am having so much fun taking Mary Ann Moss' Remains of the Day online class. I'm stealing time here and there and loving the inspiration over the holidays. Mary Ann doesn't know it, but she even kept me company while I did the holiday dishes. I brought the laptop into the kitchen, started one of her videos and happily listened and watched her create while I puttered in the sink. It was so much more enjoyable doing dishes and talking (or listening) about creating. Above are some of my inside pages in progress. Here is the front cover:
and the back cover:
the spine:
and the inside of the cover. That's a little muslin pocket to hold goodies:
Having completed my cover, I've moved on to the inside pages. I'll show you more of that the next post, but here's a teaser:

Looks lovely!

Pam - this is so great! It was a splurge but I went and signed up after reading your blog (Mary Ann should give you a commission because I bet I'm not the only one!)
I need a fresh breath of inspiration to start my new year....
Happy New Year to you and your family!

I've been enjoying doing the class as well, but I am a little behind - hopefully my cover will be finished later today. Yours looks wonderful.

I love the older, antique feel to it, but still keeping bright vibrant colours. Looks great.

It looks like a yummy class, Pam! If I ever find my sewing machine again, maybe I'll take it! I sure loved your Journaling class at Art Fest a few years ago. You're the best!
Hugs,
Sheila

I'm sitting here before sunup on a freezing cold morning just surfing the web for blogs. The beautiful pics in yours helped warm my heart even if my feet are half frozen. Your journals are beautiful and a great way to start a new year.

Please post it when you finish!!! I really wanted to take the class, but not great on the timing. Wish I was a craft monkey, I love her witty sense of humor.

I am loving this class too. Wish I had more time to work on it. I finished my cover and used scraps from the fabric journal I made in your class.

Thanks to you Pam, I signed up for Mary Ann's class and am loving it! I've had to step WAY out of my box as I'm a needlework designer and work for perfection. No mistakes allowed (unless I'm reproducing a child's sampler). Wow, has it been fun.
BTW, your blog is such eye candy. I've printed out several of your photos and projects and taped in my boring work planner just to make me smile when I see them. Thank YOU!

Hi, Pam -
I just happened onto your blog from someone else's blog (don't remember whose it was now), but thank you for your inspiration. Thanks to you, I found out about the Remains of the Day class and have now finished my first journal. Also I LOVE the color combination of your journal cover - so pretty!
