Yep, still doodling, and journaling and cutting and pasting, just not as much since I've been up to other shenanigans. Here are some pages from my current journal. I'm pretty much only grabbing these two these days. My hard cover journals have been left neglected, while these soft-cover, easy to grab and go journals are my current choice. This top one is really just scraps of paper sewn together. The cover is a lovely postcard received long ago from Wendy Addison and her Theater of Dreams shop sale. I've savored it for years.
See how haphazard the "construction" of the book is? It's sewn and taped and glued together, made from scraps. Here's the back:
I'm using this journal for my take everywhere notepad these days. Planning parties, fun ideas, and I've even printed out inspiration I've seen on the internet and glued it in. So many wonderful ideas that I love to look at again and again for stimulation. The internet and the creativity shared there is amazing.
In the other, more traditional journal, is where I've been putting the flotsam and jetsam of my life and mind. Here's a page I did for Teresa's journaling ezine this summer.
And pages from this last week:
And even some blank pages to work on whenever.
I've got another journaling post in the works, and it includes a good giveaway too, so stay tuned you journalers, or those of you that like to see the journal pages of others (yes, that was a giveaway hint)...

L-o-v-e the serendipity of these journal pages and the happy happenstance of your "haphazard" journal! Hugs, Terri

Okay, even your 'just thrown together mindlessly' journal is cool. I do that and what do I get? 'Just a thrown together mindless' journal. Sigh. I love your journal pages.

Hi Pam,
I so covet your scraps! Does that sound weird? Probably but, my goodness, I just think they are amazing and, coupled with your handlettering the effect is always just beautiful. Enjoy the weekend.

These are beautiful! I tried making some journals like these before, but they came out so *blah*. I should try adding some sewing to them.
Can't wait til the Brocante Carnival!

As I was reading this post I got to thinking that an older project that started out as a wall hanging will end up as a journal page(one of the pics from postmarked: LA, I've been missing my Mom these last few weeks and since the pic is of a Mom and daughter...I thought those two things go hand in hand. Thank you for sharing your journals with us. Off to my faves to do some more faves! Happy happies Pam.

you have given me such good ideas...! I have always thought of "journals" as places I had to put down my thoughts and I don't really like to do that much...BUT...I love keeping bits and pieces of this and that ..ideas, cute things I get in the mail, things I clip from ads or magazines...they tend to end up on my inspiration board, but now I can paste them into "journals" and rotate the board! I am LOVIN' this post! Thanks for the inspiration...
