Sneaking it in wherever I can. This is the family room floor this morning. Exactly where I left it late last night. I was waiting up for my daughter to return home (hard to get used to her having her license and freedom!) so, happily pulled my tray out from it's hiding place. I tend to sit on the floor and stitch, not sure why, maybe so I can spread out all my supplies. When I am working on something I like, I find myself laying it out so that I can take it all in. I like to look at it and think about it and find favorite spots. Do you do this too? Obviously, just before heading to bed last night I stood up and enjoyed one last look. Off to put it away now, after today's company we are going on a quick trip to San Diego. Maybe I'll stitch a bit in the car...
Also, going to put a little collection of stitched bits in my etsy shop next week. Like these:
Something affordable in these troubling economic times. And other goodies too...just gonna keep filling bit by bit. Have a great weekend!

love your work! I have long admired it! I would be very excited to see your stitched bits on etsy...and possibly add one to my home.

I'm happy you're still at it! So am I. But I do mine on the couch -- I sit in one corner and spread everything on the rest of the couch.
Cheers! Colette

It's funny, I sew standing up ( on my machine).
Not sure why...it probably looks weird.
But like you, I love to sit on the floor to do my hand work. For me, it's because I'm always dropping stuff...
Looking forward to your etsy...I started doing fairygodmothers...we could all use one these days!!
love your style so much!!

So fun to follow all the creative things that you are doing. Your colors are always inspriring to me. Hope you are well, and I totally get the daughter thing! While my daughter is home from college for the summer I still wait up for her, and I do work on creative projects while I wait!!

Hi Pam,
Are you a seamstress or a quilter? Do you take old quilts and incorporate them into your design or do you quilt it yourself? Just curious.
I am going to check out your etsy shop.
Thanks,
JA
