Today I attended a birthday lunch for Amy. The blurry but still cute photo above shows Jenny and Amy in full swing. Love their jewelry; they are well connected to the goods :).
Isn't it fun to wrap gifts for friends when you know they'll appreciate it? I couldn't resist using the embroidered button with a letter A, the floppy flower or her favorite number on a rhinestone pin: 3. I chose this paper to use as a cover for a little journal I made her because it makes me think we'll be like this sooner than later if these b'days keep coming at their relentless pace: two old ladies discussing some art project intently.
I'm looking forward to it. Happy belated birthday Am!

awww...this is sweet...okay what restaurant were you all gathered in? Just love those chandeliers and candleoperas in the background...yum! Love Amy and her jewelry and I also appreicate wrapping a gift for a friend who adores the wrappings as much as the gift...Rachel Ashwell started this love of wrapping/gift giving with her Shabby Chic book on gift giving...just love that book! Thanks for sharing...sorry I'll miss you Pam at inspired in 2010...just can't make it this year. Perhaps I'll see you at Silver Bella someday! I will wish upon a shiny, glittery star...Fondly, Roberta

I know what you mean about wrapping gifts for people who "get it" and appreciate it. What personal and beautiful goodies you chose.

I'm with you - it's really a treat to bring out the good stuff for wrapping extra special friends presents. I can be such a hoarder, that when I am willing to share my best vintage stuff, I realize even more how special these friends are.
