The latest issue of Where Women Create is out and on the bookshelves now. Here's the opening spread of my article. I thought it was so cool that they used my doodles and scraps of vintage wallpaper on my layout. Fun to have friends Lisa and Amy in the same issue with too.
And not quite at your local bookstore, another book that I've just ordered from Earth Angels. It looks quite yummy. I love the artwork of Julie Arkell. (Katie Runnels of the constant gatherer compiled that lovely Julie Arkell post) Just in case you love Julie too...

WWC is my new favorite magazine! Congratulations on your article. I love the photo of YOU - you look so happy.

Hi Pam;
Can't wait to get my copy of "Where women create" I learnt allot about journalling styles when you did Art Journalling and last night I saw the work you did on calendar days. You are such an inspiration and you blog makes it easy to spark one's creativity. Thank you for sharing so freely your wonderful talent and giving us a chance to see whom inspires you. I had a chance last night to try my hand in my journalling process.

Dear Pamela,
Congratulations on your article and photo spread in WWC. Thank you especially for sharing your story.:) It was very touching. Ohhh..and your studio is just amazing. (I have to admit I am a tinge green.):) You can tell you really poured your heart and soul in this space. I so enjoy your blog and am have been so inspired by your journal articles that you have presented. I especially love seeing all your wonderful collections and what you do with them.
OH, would love to have the Julie Arkell book. I have been a fan since I first stumbled upon her work on the internet back in the early "2000's" So glad she is so successful. She occasionally attends events at Earth Angels and I am keeping my fingers crossed that she would do a workshop here in the states in my side of the country, (eastern US)

Wonderful article.....I loved seeing your studio! It is beautiful. I spied the pretty cake plate you use....I use those too....sometimes people are surprised that I use an antique to hold supplies but I love them.

I just got my copy this weekend. When I read your feature I was shaking my head the WHOLE time. Isn't funny how long we can wait to do what we were made to do? I loved everything about it...and your space...incredible. You are really an inspiration. Have a wonderful week.

I was strolling through Barnes & Noble today and happened upon this book. It's absolutely beautiful and I'm blogging about it tonight.

Your article was my favorite! What you said about not feeling that the creative world was the right thing to do early on struck a cord with me!! I'm 48 and just now feel like it's ok to say I create and design dolls...without feeling nervous I'll be laughed at.
I'm really just starting out, and like you said in the article I too am working on those strings that tie me down. Those darn strings!
xoxo!!

Congratulations on the WWC piece, it was beautiful. Love seeing inside others' creative spaces. I really liked the section where you shared how exciting it was when you discovered others that "got you" and how some others seem they're judging for using your time creatively as if it's wasteful/unimportant. Definitely struck a familiar chord with me, thank you for sharing.
