Sweet Jenni Bowlin gave me these letters. I love ampersands and pink makes it all the better.
I found a lot of ornaments when we popped into an antiques store. I haven't been to a flea market at home forever or plan on going, so I knew I wouldn't be finding any once home. They were priced really well compared to antique shops out here. And Charlotte, I am happy to report that not one ornament broke in shipping. I am not happy to report however, that not only did they not come via FedEx ground as hoped, but came urgent, next day, in the morning delivery. So now those ornaments weren't such a good deal after all. I haven't mastered the shipping while on the road thing obviously.
I bought these crown jars on vendor night. Does anyone remember the name of the vendor in the back right corner with lots of French things? She had more crown bottles if you like them. I'm going to use these for glitter storage.
I bought this super cute birdie ornament from Holly. I know she has more too.
I'm not sure who I bought this birdie from. Holly? Someone else on vendor night?
Always love treasure hunting in a new town. I just ordered one of Charlotte's kits, so I'm going to make one of her Christmas trees and use the green cardboard can above for it's base. Determined to use up each and every treasure I brought home (even though finishing off what remains of that paper curling ribbon will be painful)!

Your jars are from Gwen at French By Design. She's a very good friend of Carol Spinski's from Raised In Cotton. I think Gwen's from Kansas City, Missouri.

yes, Julie is right, the French stuff is from Gwen, here in KC. The bird is from Heather at Pretty Petals, I think.

Hi Pam: I'm a huge fan of your work. I live in the Phoenix area, but grew up five minutes from the Old Market. My Dad worked for Butternut Coffee in Omaha for 30 years. Treasure your Butternut can. What a rare find.

Oh Pam, your vintage ornaments are so lovely. I especially love that oversized garland of them. Beautiful. I'm so glad you like your little tinsel bird ornament!

I've been lucky to be able to find these "Crown Canning Jars" on a somewhat frequent basis...as far as the availability of vintage goes. They were made here in Canada, so that makes them a bit easier to find as they are a fairly common item in vintage/antique shops. I like to add a few to my collection once or twice a year. Just this evening I add some of the vintage glass bead garland to a few for display.
...also, I think the Fedex problem may be able to be rectified. Several gals had a similar mishap (overnight when it should have gone the slow route)--check with Theresa...

Pam: I see two of my favorite things in these photos...with the crocheted goodies, I see some motifs made with coronation cord, which is so hard to find anymore, and in another picture the beautiful ric-rac daisies....you scored some lovelies! Regards, Nancy

Hi Pam,
Yep that birdy was definitely from Heather of Pretty Petals.
Also re the FedEx shipping problem, I know three girls who had the same problem and it was fixed up ~ perhaps email Andrea Singarella and I'm sure she can tell you how she got it worked out :)
Also wanted to let you know that your little ole DVD is in the mail and will be with you very soon!

Great goodies that you found. I am in love with the ric rac daisy piece, too cute. I, too, love treasure hunting in a new town, maybe I just need fresh eyes when I'm close to home.
Happy hunting,
Juanita
