Hi all. 2008 just hasn't been a great year for the Garrisons. We are ready to start fresh with 2009! You know about the dual back issues, but I didn't mention that about a month or two ago my car was acting up. When I got it to the shop the mechanic said, "maybe you can pay someone to take it away?" True story. And it was only 4 thousand miles out of it's 100 thousand mile warranty. Super. Lesson learned there; sell your car while it's still under warranty. I am enjoying our new car though (a used Prius), and it certainly was time for a new car, but it seems so much more stressful when you are forced to deal with something you weren't expecting to.
The latest unanticipated fun was when I arrived home from Silver Bella all ready to post about what a great event it was and all the the details of it's success due to Teresa's tireless efforts. I even took photos at Silver Bella this year and was excited to share, only to discover that my computer had died, died, died. The apple store said it wasn't worth fixing. Super. So no computer, no photos uploaded, no blogging, no blog reading. I have bought a new one and it should be all set up and running by next Wednesday. (Thanks to anyone that bought something from me on vendor night because you helped me out with that! I did get a lot of teasing about my bad blogging habits this past year. I know I deserved it.)
But you know, whah whah whah. To put it all in perspecitive we have a new medical issue to pray about. Super. Should be all wrapped up by the new year though, so, like I said, I'm really looking forward to this year ending. I'll be back next week, just wanted to explain in case anyone was coming by to see an update! xo
